【How do human beings “understand” and “think”?】
Once you learn the mechanism of “understanding” and “thinking”, you can develop the children’s academic ability more effectively.
At the beginning, we, teachers, have to understand the meaning of understanding and thinking correctly. Otherwise, we would never be able to help children to be understood nor to develop their problem solving ability.
It is said that understanding occurs when one can visualize the situation when they listen to and read words, letters, phrases and sentences.
And it is the thinking ability that allows them to operate (move, transform, copy and compare) the images they visualized as they are asked or questioned in the problem beyond understanding. That is basically why we can understand and think without words.
Of course even in the case that you do not have eyesight, if your sense of sight is kept its function, you can think. Because you can visualize and move the visual images.

so, everyone can understand and think perfectly.

It is important to work-out the problem by the drawing itself not by only referring the drawing to deep thinking.
You can see as visual images ⇒ understanding
You can operate the visual images ⇒ thinking
You can chose correctly the sutable answer from the choices ⇒ correct judgment
Words and numbers only play the role of trigger to the visual images. We cannot understand and think well if we only focus on learning them. We have to know that we understand and think employing primarily visual images. It is very simple, however, most people do not realize how important this is.
